Gender Disphoria – An Interesting Angle

This article is from earlier in 2013, but is new to me. It’s from a Catholic site and raises the question of what is best course of action when someone wants to change their sex. Apparently those who undergo a sex change never really feel like they have completely become the new sex. Some of the patients later decide they want to change back again. The highlight of this article, is reflecting the issue of people who want to make other changes to their body, eg limb removal even when the limb is perfectly healthy. I dont have all the answers, but these are interesting questions, apparently topical due to pending changes to the DSM.
