Do Children from Same-sex Parented Households Fare Any Worse?

A study by Rosenfeld (2010) on the association between child outcomes and same-sex family structure, is widely cited to claim that children of same-sex parented households fare no worse than children of heterosexually parented households. But now an update of that study, challenges the original findings. It will be interesting to see how the peer reviews respond. Ditto for the study from Doug Allen (2013).

Does the new study mention the reasons WHY that may be? Is it because of the same-sex parenting itself, or because of the way people treat children with same-sex parents?

Most studies dont focus on the ‘why’, but you can click on the link in my post to read the study. Children bully for all sorts of reasons, but in my experience as a child, it was always about you and never about your parents.
